I'm afraid I'm all out of food-relating things for the week, on account of my massive final fail-this-and-you-fail-first-year-med-school exams looming. Thankfully they'll be all done Friday (for better or for worse), and I'll be back to my regular schedule this time next week. Thanks for bearing with me, and see y'all soon!
After years of scheming and dreaming, I've finally nabbed myself a spot at medical school! To be precise, at the end of this year, I'll be heading up to University of Sydney to start a new career of poking and prodding sick people. Whilst I'm super duper excited to study medicine and check out Sydney's food scene, I can't pretend that I'm not also saddened to be leaving Melbourne behind. I will of course come back regularly to visit food and family, but for the time being, it looks like Sweet and Sour Fork will be turning into a Sydney food blog. I'm making some big changes in my life at the moment, and it's taking up almost all of my spare time. But there is no way this blog is stopping, as it is now as much a part of me as anything else I might be doing. With that said, less time means a harder time fitting the blog posts in, so for the time being, they'll be reduced down to once a week. New blog posts will now come out on Wednesdays, just in time to combat the mid-week munchies!
After 2 weeks of trapezing through Malaysia (and a quick stint in Singapore), I’m back in Melbourne, brown as a nut, a little bit more worldly, and possibly also a little more portly. There was so much food to be eaten as ridiculously low prices – less than $2AUD for a full breakfast and a drink! But unfortunately, even though I was planning to blog about all the eatings I did, most of my quick snaps mysteriously disappeared off my camera, so… yeah, boo to that.
Hey guys, guys, GUYS! Guess what I’m doing right now! I’m in the middle of packing for my two week trip to Malaysia (my flight leaves in approximately 12 hours time) with my beloved Pharmily friends, so I won’t be around very much for the next while. I’ve got this newfangled scheduled posting system set up though, so fingers crossed that’ll go right and my current blogging schedule will continue, but any comments will most likely go unreplied to until I’m back.
